About the Role:
Join our team as an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Electrician for a FIFO role in the Pilbara region. You'll be involved in maintaining a fixed crushing and screening plant at a Tier 1 iron ore mine site, prioritising preventative maintenance to uphold the safety of our dedicated staff. We are seeking individuals with exceptional forward planning, maintenance, and fault-finding skills.
As a valued member of a close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside familiar faces during both day and night shifts, all working collaboratively towards shared objectives.
Immediate commencement is available for this 2:1 roster position, offering an annual salary of $193 125 + super on all hours. To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- “A” Grade Electrician (WA) qualification
- Working at heights, confined space entry, and gas tests atmospheres or willing to obtain.
- High Risk - EWP
- Current driver’s license
- Current CPR, LVR certificate and First Aid
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Excellent fault finding and planning capabilities
- Proven ability to adhere to safe working procedures
- Experience working on crushing and screening plants preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting schematic drawings and following instructions
- Analytical and methodical problem-solving skills
- Reliability, drive, and self-motivation
- Adherence to project rules and requirements
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical examinations, as well as drug and alcohol screenings
