About the Role:
HTS is growing in WA, and we are looking for another electrician to join our team. HTS has a solid pipeline of projects lined up for 2025 and beyond.
You'll be joining a team of mixed trades working across projects on a variety of works. No two days will be the same.
If you are a qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining, resource or construction industry, a knack for problem solving, and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is your chance to join a rapidly growing company with projects right across Australia and The Pacific.
This particular role is a DIDO role from Perth. The ideal candidate will work well in multi-disciplinary teams, is adaptable and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and
fixtures. - Install switchboards, distribution boards, transformers and circuit breakers.
- Install conduits, cable trays, and wiring for permanent electrical systems.
- Route and secure electrical cables underground, overhead, or through walls and ceilings.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment & fixtures based on the job specifications and
local codes. - Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to
locates the cause of a breakdown an correct the problem - Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for
adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance of codes. - Coordinate with a range of different trades, including carpenters, plumbers, trade assistant and operators - excellent communication skills are a must.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in preferably in mining, resources, or construction.
- Current WA Electrical Licence.
- Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card)
- Other tickets and qualifications would be higher advantageous (Working at Heights, WHS etc).
