About the Role:
This is an exciting project-based role within the rail sector, supporting ongoing operations and improvements for our client. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained throughout the duration of the project. This role is ideal for those looking to develop their career within the rail industry with a focus on Shunter and Locomotive operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shunter or Locomotive Driver.
- Route Knowledge in ARC Infrastructure is highly advantageous.
- Safely and effectively shunting and marshalling wagons as needed.
- Performing thorough pre-departure inspections of locomotives to confirm readiness for operation.
- Maintaining accurate records of train movements and completing necessary operational documentation.
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies, along with all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and upholding industry compliance standards.
- Collaborating well in a team environment, with the ability to work independently when needed.

- Work is project-based, offering variety and the chance to develop further within the rail industry.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete industry-specific inductions and training.
