The Opportunity
Our Service Centre is looking for an Operator to join our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
Whether you have steel industry experience or not, we are seeking an individual who is keen to further their skills in manufacturing. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of this Operator role allowing for future career development opportunities.
This opportunity is a dayshift position working Monday to Friday. The dayshift hours are from Monday – Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 5am-11am with overtime eligibility.

Role
As an Operator you will work in a continuous production environment. Your role will be to operate machinery or work in warehousing to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your own safety and that of your team. Working within a collaborative team environment, you’ll receive ongoing training and support. You will:
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment
- operating machinery to manufacture steel product
- safely pack and strap our steel products
- performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
- be required to use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts
