We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following short-term, full-time position to commence in April 2025:
Reception Cover /Administration
Short-Term Contract: 22 April 2025 – 6 June 2025 : 1.0 FTE (5 days)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with appropriate experience to join our team in a Reception and Administration role. The ideal candidate will be a committed, people-focused professional with strong communication and organisational skills. This is a short-term contract position, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys providing excellent support to staff, students, and visitors.

The successful applicant will be required to:
- Greet and welcome visitors, students, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Answer phone calls within three rings, directing appropriately or taking messages when necessary.
- Handle queries and complaints via phone, email, and general correspondence.
- Manage the school’s reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Ensure the safety and hygiene standards of the reception area are upheld.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages and organise outgoing mail.
- Manage office inventory, including stationery, office supplies and photocopy machine requirements.
- Responsible for accurate data entry and record-keeping as part of administrative duties.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Embrace and represent the Christian ethos of the College.
- Proficiency in using computer software including Google, TASS, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additional Requirements:
- All applicants are required to attain and maintain Working with Children Check clearance.
- A Current Police Clearance Certificate.
- You will be expected to complete a Child Safety course as part of the induction process if you have not already done so.
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
