Financial Accountant

Description:

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports and statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal policies.
• Assist with budget preparation and management.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Manage and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a Financial Accountant with 3-5 years' experience at the same level and:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification, or working towards (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar role (public sector experience desirable, but no essential).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and legislation.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• TechnologyOne system experience (highly desirable).
