About the company
This is a small but rapidly growing Australian business with a team of 11, specialising in demolition and cleaning. This business is a specialist in flood and fire restoration services and are seeking a highly dedicated and passionate Restoration Technician to help their team and customers in need covering the Brisbane, Loganholme region!
About the role
If you are looking for job security with a successful and growing Australian company, then this is the role for you! Reporting directly to the owner of the business, you will have autonomy in this role and be provided with a supportive team environment with training & development opportunities. Your success in this role will be determined by your attitude, work ethic & attention to detail skills. This is a newly created role due to the demand and growth in the company - furture management opportunities and options to run your own team are available!
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to properties throughout Brisbane areas and surrounding areas to complete required restoration works
- Use App-based job management and reporting software
- Remove and discard non-salvageable building materials and contents contaminated by flood, mould, sewage, fire, and other hazards
- Restore and sanitise building materials and contents deemed restorable
- Install and monitor restoration equipment
- Clean and maintain company, facilities, equipment, and vehicles
Skills & experience
- Previous experience in restoration is essential for this role - at least 1 years!
- Brilliant attention to detail skills is of high value
- You must have a hard work ethic and be able to work autonomously
- Trade skills or prior handyman skills is desirable
- Have the physical ability to lift heavy objects on occasion
- Able to work flexible hours (Occasional weekend and after-hours work is required)
- Have an Australian Driver's License & Construction White card.
- Have a Police check (or able to get one)?
