We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and career-driven Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in high-volume transactions, reconciliations, and maintaining the Accounts Payable Ledger, providing an excellent foundation for your professional growth.
As an Accounts Officer, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. You’ll collaborate with teams across Customer Service, Plan Management, and Support Coordination, as well as external providers, to facilitate seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing daily transactions in JDE Accounting Software with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing high-volume accounts payable and maintaining the Accounts Payable Ledger.
- Performing daily reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, creditors, and accruals.
- Responding to and resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Managing vendor and customer accounts , ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.
- Documenting financial processes and best-practice payment controls to enhance efficiency.
- Driving process improvements and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For:
- Currently completing or working towards a CA or CPA qualification .
- Experience in bank reconciliations, accounts payable, or accounts receivable , preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills , with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills (JDE and Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Ability to manage peak workloads , adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- A proactive problem-solver with a mindset for continuous improvement.
