About the Roles:

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is a leading provider of Healthcare Services across multiple healthcare facilities including Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Health Services. Our Occupational Therapy Service is integral in our aim to optimise healthcare outcomes for patients in our community.

SALHN have opportunities available for professional Occupational Therapists to join our highly diverse and experienced Acute Occupational Therapy team. Details of what the roles include:

• Provision of assessment, treatment and discharge planning services to acute adult inpatients and outpatients.
• The ability to rotate though a series of clinical services with an opportunity to develop a variety of clinical skills and knowledge.
• The ability to work in a large supportive Occupational Therapy team with experienced AHP3 senior clinician oversight.
• The ability to work collaboratively with members of various other disciplines as part of a multidisciplinary service.

Successful applicants will receive a thorough induction and orientation, and regular on-going clinical supervision.

About you:

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written,
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment,
• Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA),
• Demonstrated competency in Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment techniques.
