The Princess Alexandra Hospital Pharmacy Department are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team. As a clinical support service within a tertiary level hospital, the Pharmacy Department delivers excellence in person-centred care, education and research in most major adult specialties. Clinical pharmacy services are delivered across inpatient and ambulatory settings in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. In this role you will contribute to patient care by supporting Pharmacists in the delivery of an efficient and effective medicines management service.

About the Role
- Prepare, dispense and supply medicines from a prescription under the supervision of a Pharmacist for checking and authorisation by a Pharmacist.
- Access and input data into patient and medicines information systems.
- Assist with inventory management within hospital and health service facilities including ordering, receiving, storage, distribution and stocktake of medicines.
