About the Kwinana Waste-to-Energy Project
The Kwinana Waste-to-Energy Project is a groundbreaking initiative designed to provide sustainable energy while significantly reducing landfill waste. This facility will divert up to 460,000 tonnes of waste annually and generate 38 megawatts of baseload power , enough to supply over 50,000 households . By reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 400,000 tonnes per year , this project is equivalent to removing 85,000 cars from Perth's roads .
We are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) team to support this industry-leading project.
- Ensure all agreements are compiled clearly and concisely, consistent with negotiated terms, and executed by subcontractors before work commencement.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, ensuring compliance with business protocols.
- Support project teams in managing subcontractor and supplier payments in accordance with contractual terms, including security of payment requirements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with subcontract terms in collaboration with project teams.
- Maintain, review, and manage a register of subcontract variations.
- Provide leadership in health, safety, environmental management, industrial relations, and industry capability and inclusion .
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Support contract administration to achieve project targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Actively participate in performance reviews, onboarding, and probationary assessments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong organisation and planning abilities to effectively manage contract administration.
- Proficiency in contract and quality management .
- Initiative and problem-solving skills to address project challenges proactively.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to provide clear, concise reporting and presentations to project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field .
- Qualifications and/or experience in Quantity Surveying (desirable).
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in buildings and civil construction .
- Construction Induction Training (White Card) obtained via in-person training.
- Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle .
