What you'll do

As the Principal Advisor, you will work collaboratively within the Workforce Wellbeing Projects team, the broader Health and Safety team, and with key stakeholders across Queensland Health to develop and implement strategic workforce wellbeing projects that deliver on organisational imperatives for supporting the wellbeing of the workforce, aligned to the broader Qld Health safety and wellbeing management system and priorities for preventing and managing physical and psychosocial risks to staff wellbeing.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary health, safety and wellbeing strategies and initiatives, including national and state policies, legislation, standards and trends, and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to develop and implement effective systems, policies and programs within a large public sector organisation.
  • A record of achievement in developing, implementing, evaluating and continually improving strategic organisation-wide health, safety and wellbeing management systems, strategies or projects within complex environments.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the proven ability to analyse performance data and provide strategic advice and reports to drive systems improvement.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships and effectively liaise and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to facilitate their cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes.
