About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the administration support services within the Medical Imaging Department. Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of clerical and administrative functions, including supporting the contracted Radiology provider. Your responsibilities will include coordinating workflows, managing client appointments, supervising clerical staff, and providing essential statistical data to support efficient service delivery.

You will be responsible for financial duties such as banking, reconciliation, and fee collection, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital procedures. About You

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive professional with strong leadership and administrative skills to manage the operations of the Medical Imaging Department. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong management and problem-solving skills – Ability to lead within legislative and risk management frameworks, use sound judgement, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service – High-level verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and staff.
  • Technical and regulatory knowledge – Familiarity with Radiology Management Systems (ESMI/RIS), Medicare billing, and relevant legislation such as the Radiation Protection Act and Privacy Act.
  • Organisational and IT proficiency – Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and utilise Microsoft applications for efficient workflow management.
