About the Role:
Are you a passionate biomedical engineer seeking an exciting career opportunity? The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking Technical or Professional Officer's to join our team within the Biomedical Engineering Department.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment and systems across our healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- conducting scheduled maintenance, calibration and repair of a wide range of biomedical equipment, including patient monitors, ventilators and imaging systems
- collaborating with clinical staff to provide technical support and training on the operation and troubleshooting of medical devices
- participating in the procurement process for new equipment, evaluating specifications and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- maintaining accurate records and documentation related to equipment performance, maintenance and repair activities
To be eligible for this position as a Technical Officer , you must hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
To be eligible for this position as a Professional Officer , you must hold a Degree in Engineering (Biomedical) or equivalent with eligibility for full membership into one of the appropriate professional bodies.
