Project Management Group Lead for an Automotive group would be responsible for overseeing a team of project managers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Main responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support team members' professional growth.
- Project Oversight:
- Ensure project scope and deliverables are clear and documented at project kick off.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring project managers adhere to best practices and methodologies.
- Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate issues.
- Define and maintain project budgets (Cost per part, ED&D, NRE)
- Ensure Lumen processes are followed
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact for senior management and key stakeholders regarding project status and performance including customers.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and other departments to ensure alignment and address any interdependencies.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities and align them with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to the development of project management processes and tools.
- Reporting and Analysis :
- Prepare and present regular project updates and performance metrics to senior management.
- Analyze project outcomes and provide recommendations for future projects based on lessons learned.
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
- Strong leadership, team-building skills, and communication.
- Proficient in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics
- Experience in Automotive industry
