About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Property, the Finance and Leasing Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the financial and leasing operations of the company. You will work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and National Property Manager, ensuring smooth financial transactions, accurate reporting, and efficient lease management across a large, multi-entity property portfolio. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of leasing, financial, and asset management functions within our commercial property portfolio.
This is an in-office position with no work-from-home option —we believe in strong collaboration and a high-performance team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Administration & Compliance
Maintain and update lease schedules, agreements, and critical lease dates.
Assist with rent reviews, lease renewals, and compliance tracking.
Process tenant invoices, including rent, outgoings, and lease adjustments.
Financial & Accounts Support
Work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant to manage AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate rent collection and outgoing recoveries.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Systems & Process Improvement
Assist in the implementation and enhancement of leasing and financial management systems (experience with Yardi or MRI Software preferred).
Ensure financial records and lease documentation are organized, accurate, and audit-ready.
Identify efficiency opportunities in financial and leasing operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a similar finance, property, or leasing administration role.
- Understanding property lease structures, outgoings, rent reviews, and financial management.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, MYOB, or similar property management software (highly desirable).
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with tenants, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
