We are looking for a dedicated Direct Care Worker (Residential) to join our team and assist in delivering exceptional service to the residents of our Residential Care Home. About the Role:
As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will assist in providing direct care services to residents, ensuring they receive the support they need to live fulfilling lives. You will work under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and collaborate closely with health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This role will allow you to contribute directly to the well-being of residents while working in a nurturing and team-oriented environment. You will be accountable for providing high-quality care, helping residents with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety in the Residential Care Home. This role is a chance to have a meaningful impact and provide outstanding care to those who need it most.
What We're Looking For:
- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
- Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health related field.
- Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
- Experience in the use of computer packages eg. Microsoft Word, Excel.

- DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
