About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife (RN/M2C) , you will provide midwifery or nursing services across a variety of health service settings, consolidating your knowledge and skills to develop from a competent to a proficient practitioner. Your role will be primarily clinical, providing direct patient care while guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. You will be accountable for your own practice standards and the activities delegated to others. Additionally, you will take on appropriate portfolio responsibilities aligned with your career development plan. This role offers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and continue providing exceptional care to patients.

As a Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/M1) , you will provide nursing or midwifery services in health service and community settings. At this level, you will develop from a novice to a proficient practitioner, consolidating your skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development and experience. You will be accountable for your own practice standards and activities delegated to others. While working predominantly in a clinical capacity, you will support less experienced staff and take on portfolio responsibilities that align with your career development goals. What We're Looking For:

RN/M2C

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing/midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses/midwives, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses/midwives.

RN/M1

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing/midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
