About the role:
Reporting to the Allied Health Service Manager in this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a new service for the development of infants aged 6-18 months through the evidenced-based Inklings program. Developed by The Kids Research Institute, this program has demonstrated remarkable outcomes in enhancing social communication, building caregiver confidence in child-led communication strategies, and fostering nurturing relationships.
Your responsibilities will include working closely with Inklings Practitioners to coordinate, deliver, and monitor the outcomes of the Inklings program across the Southern region of Adelaide. You will focus on engaging families from low socio-economic backgrounds, First Nations, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, ensuring that the program's benefits reach those who need it most.
About you:
- Proven well developed communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including:
- Effectively interacting with people from diverse backgrounds such as professional and non-professional staff, external agencies and members of the community
- Proven experience in basic computing skills, including email and word processing.\
- Experience using Sunrise Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Patient Administration System (PAS) is considered an advantage for this role.
