The Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to drive profitable sales and growth within the Foodservice channel, focusing on distributor partnerships and end-user customer activation. In this role, you will execute strategic sales plans at both the national distributor and state levels, managing key metrics such as GSV, Trade Spend, and NSV. Reporting to the Southern Regional Field Sales Manager, your main duties as responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Maintain current state distributor accounts and secure additional business with plans to achieve and exceed sales and market share targets.
- Report on state-based business in conjunction with forecasting routines and rituals.
- Establish and maintain state trading term metrics that fall within the national guardrails.
- Identify opportunities and implement strategies to improve level of service to existing foodservice distributors.
- Establish state-based account management of key distributor network.
- Drive new business with end user activation sales that’ll increase the portfolio sales opportunity.
- Drive NPD distribution through distributor & end user network to maximise the requirements that would enhance the wider Patties business.
- Provide State account management and leadership in conjunction with your peers and wider OOH channel.
- Other ad hoc duties as per directed.
To be successful in this role, you will be an energetic and relationships focused person. You will have a hunger for results and will have previous experience of Account Management in the FMCG industry.
- Previous experience in Account Management or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Effective sales and negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen, ability to understand and interpret GSV, trade spend and NSV.
- Strong drive and results orientated
- Adaptable working style - no two days will be the same
- Excellent time management and be able to prioritise a busy workload
