As the Customer Service Officer - Rural Services, you will play an essential role in the efficient delivery of important customer service, water licensing and entitlement administrative functions on behalf of our Rural Customers.

About the role:

As the Customer Service Officer - Rural Services you will strive to achieve excellent standards of service to internal and external customers; enabling the Corporation to meet regulatory requirements and accountabilities, working effectively as a member of a cross-skilled team, undertaking a multitude of customer related tasks that requires self-motivation, analytical skills, flexibility and autonomy and the ability to problem solve.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers and assistance as required to external customers.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Case-manage customer enquiries
  • Identify and promote processes and procedures to achieve efficiencies with benefit to LMW and its customers
  • Deliver quality information and services face-to-face, over the telephone and email to both internal and external customers.

About You:

Ideally you have a background in business, financial, property or legal administration or complex customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work independently, solution and results focused, self-directed
  • Ability to manage and develop performance effectively to meet deadlines.
  • An analytical mind
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers and assistance as required to external customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in data processing in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated and results orientated
