As a Contracts Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Business Enablement, you will play a vital role in implementing best practices and processes in contract management. This role demands collaboration and involvement with essential internal stakeholders, including Legal, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Operations, Technology (including Information Security), and Issuer Services. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Drive efficiencies and enhance outcomes to ensure that contracts are not only financially viable but also maximize profitability while reducing costs to serve
- Foster strong partnerships with senior management and business development teams to guarantee that contract terms align with Computershare's strategic operational and financial goals
- Strongly support the implementation of a new contracts platform where all client contracts will be managed and maintained
- Work closely with business teams and Finance to deliver comprehensive client contract reporting, empowering informed decision-making to support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting activities
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners, facilitating effective collaboration and communication throughout the contract lifecycle
- Proactive involvement in reviewing RFP/RFI documents, including any contracts supplied with the RFP/RFI (from clients and prospects)
- Continuously monitor industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in contracts and procurement management, ensuring that your knowledge is current and applied to enhance the company's contract management practices
What will you bring to the role?
- Experience in Contract Management, including negotiation and renewal of external client contracts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, able to influence outcomes and effectively present information to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in category management and advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Broad understanding of the financial services industry
- Ability to support small to medium continuous improvement projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in mathematical concepts including discounts, and interest
