About The Role
The Pipeline Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and technical services to support the safety, reliability, integrity and long term value of Jemena’s AS2885 Asset Class that supports Jemena’s commercial and operational objective.
Key Responsibilities Include
Develop Opportunity BriefsFront End Engineering Design and Project Support for AS 2885 pipelines and pipeline assembliesPerformance Monitoring including compliance to requirements in AS 2885, Jemena specifications and other relevant codes and standardsOperational Engineering Support including defect assessment to ASME B31G and API 579Performance Non-Conformance investigation and reportingAsset Integrity Monitoring and Condition Assessment, including review of Pipeline integrity data such as Cathodic Protection survey, in-line inspection and coating defect survey data.Co-ordinate and Participate in Risk Assessments and AS 2885 Safety Management StudiesReview proposed major third party works in the vicinity of pipeline assets
About You
Tertiary Qualifications and/or higher in EngineeringCertified Professional Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer preferableSolid technical experience in the high pressure pipeline industry including credibility with safety regulatorsKnowledge or experience in Australian energy utilities/services provider and contractor marketTrack record of delivering Engineering and technical functions including policy, standards development, regulatory compliance and risk managementStrong knowledge of pipeline engineering discipline design standards, specifications, code and appropriate safety criteria
