About the role
RV Industries Australia is seeking an experienced Upholstery / Motor Trimmer to join our team in Bayswater North, VIC. This full-time role is an integral part of our Automotive Trades operations, responsible for providing high-quality upholstery and trimming services for our products.
What you'll be doing
- Undertake all aspects of upholstery work, including cutting, sewing leather, vinyl different materials to various automotive and Recreational Vehicle interior.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Provide input and recommendations on material selection, design, and other aspects of the trimming process
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety protocols and quality control measures
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer or Motor Trimmer, preferably in the automotive or Recreational Vehicle industry
- Strong technical skills in cutting, sewing, and trimming a variety of materials, including leather, vinyl, and fabric
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
