Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our team. This role involves installing custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed with precision, efficiency, and professionalism.
As an Installer, you’ll work closely with the manufacturing team, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless on-site installations. You’ll be responsible for reading technical drawings, handling cabinetry transport and assembly, and problem-solving unexpected site challenges while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & On-Site Work:
- Install kitchen, bathroom, and custom joinery components with precision.
- Read and interpret architectural plans, technical drawings, and installation instructions.
- Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and secure fitting of all cabinetry and components.
- Adjust and modify cabinetry on-site as needed to accommodate existing structures.
- Handle, transport, and load/unload cabinetry and materials safely.
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
Quality Control & Problem-Solving:
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges on-site.
- Ensure all work meets company standards for precision, quality, and durability.
- Identify and correct minor defects or alignment issues before project completion.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and site requirements.
Collaboration & Customer Interaction:
- Communicate professionally with clients, builders, and project managers.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop and manufacturing team to resolve any pre-installation concerns.
- Provide feedback on design and manufacturing improvements based on installation experiences.
Workshop & Equipment Maintenance:
- Keep tools and equipment well-maintained and stored properly.
- Assist with inventory management and preparation of materials for upcoming projects.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Competencies:
- 3-5 years of cabinet installation
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques, including cabinetry alignment and fastening methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Understanding of construction and site safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Cabinet Making, Carpentry, or related trade (preferred but not required).
- White Card (Workplace Health & Safety) – or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid Driver’s License (ability to travel to different job sites if needed).
- Own tools (preferred but not essential – company tools provided).
