Based in Dunnstown and reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, we are looking for an experienced multiskilled Tradesperson to work our afternoon/night shift, whose primary responsibilities will be to maintain on site production facilities and equipment to a high standard to enable optimum production performance and safe operations.

This role does involve working shift work and working beyond midnight which will be compensated with a loading penalty.

Your Day will involve:

  • Work safely in line with Boral’s policies and procedures.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, inspections and testing in planned site shutdowns.
  • Carry out site installation works on new equipment and upgrades of existing equipment.
  • Carry out job planning, including assessing required work equipment, etc.
  • Assist with requests to organize quotes and order parts as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • Installation experience in an industrial environment.
  • Quarry and Commercial Industrial experience are desirable but not necessary.
  • Industrial fault-finding experience.
  • Exposure to plant control systems
  • Ability to provide a proactive approach towards work.
  • Flexibility for overtime hours if required.
