Team Leader

Organisation;
Brightside Recruitment is currently working with a organisation in Melbourne that is expanding it's Allied Health team. They provide a range of services to Adults and young people in the community and at their center.
Role;
The Team Leader will provide leadership to a team of Occupational Therapists practicing within Adult and Teenager space. You will have a small caseload.
You'll ensure that practitioners have the clinical support, supervision and resources they need to deliver evidence based, best practice intervention in line with the goals and individual requirements of each person.
You will also be required to;

• Provide evidence-based clinical service to clients who are funded under the NDIS and other external agencies.
• To undertake clinical assessments and therapy in clinic / home (including delivery of therapy and documentation of therapy outcomes in line with best practices ).
• Recommend and prescribe assistive technology.
• Recommend and complete minor home modifications if appropriate (funded under the NDIS and other external funding agencies)
• Provide ADL (activity of daily living) and functional capacity assessments either within the client’s home, or in a clinic setting, providing recommendations and interventions to ensure the client reaches their optimal level of function.

Criteria;

• A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current membership of the appropriate relevant professional body/organisation
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current Driver’s License and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
• NDIS induction model
• Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check
