Description:

Our client is a well-established fit-out and refurbishment specialist with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join their dynamic team.

The Role:

As a Contract Administrator , you will play a key role in managing contractual and financial aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring smooth project delivery while mitigating risks. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to work on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement agreements.

  • Ensure all contractual obligations and compliance requirements are met.

  • Assist in cost control, budget tracking, and financial reporting.

  • Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes.

  • Prepare and process progress claims, invoices, and payment schedules.

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and contract records.

  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks proactively.

What You Need:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator in fit-out or construction.

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and construction methodologies.

  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Law, or a related field (preferred).
