As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in return-to-work rehabilitation, workplace mental health, and occupational medicine to join our dedicated team.
Role Overview
This role involves assessing, treating, and supporting individuals with workplace-related mental health conditions to facilitate their safe and sustainable return to work. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational physicians, and case managers to provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and interventions for individuals recovering from work-related injuries, chronic pain, PTSD, stress, anxiety, and adjustment disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized return-to-work strategies that address both physical and psychological recovery.
- Provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused interventions to help patients manage workplace-related psychological conditions.
- Liaise with employers, insurers, case managers, and rehabilitation providers to create structured return-to-work plans.
- Educate corporate clients and employers on workplace mental health, stress management, and resilience training.
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation in line with industry regulations and best practices .
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
- Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) .
- Minimum 5 years of experience , with a strong background in occupational rehabilitation, return-to-work programs, and workplace mental health .
- Proven experience in chronic pain management, adjustment disorders, and trauma-focused therapy .
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with WorkCover, insurers, and workplace injury schemes is highly desirable.
