Description:
We are seeking a skilled Packaging Electrician to support our client's operations in Wetherill Park. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems in a packaging environment. You will work within a flexible team and be accountable for ensuring safe work practices and effective problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a packaging environment.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to team members.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues independently using your troubleshooting expertise.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Utilize MEX software (preferred) to analyze and resolve maintenance issues.
- Work on a rotating shift schedule (3-1-3 rotation), offering extended days off during shift transitions (8 days off when switching from nightshift to dayshift; 7 days off when switching from dayshift to nightshift).
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Valid electrical license and Australian trade certification.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to manage and maintain safe work practices.
- Experience with MEX software is preferred but not essential.
