About the role
Our client is a global leading provider of solar renewable energy solutions who specialise in PV inverter and energy storage technologies. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join their team in North Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-tier technical support for customers, participating in project bidding, and staying up to date with the latest technologies in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities of the role
- Lead sales efforts by providing top-tier technical support and troubleshooting for our clients via various channels.
- Participate in project bidding, including solution design, technical support, and preparing bidding documents.
- Stay up to date with the industry's latest products technologies.
- Collect and arrange information on the Australian PV and ESS market.
- Follow up on local grid code requirements and local standard requirements.
- Support marketing analysis, including customer feedback and competitor information.
- Maintain strong customer rapport and ensure excellent, timely communication.
- Build and maintain good relationships between the company and existing/new clients.
- Act as a public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering/equivalent
- 3+ years technical experience within Solar Industry
- Experience working with Solar PV systems and BESS is preferred.
- Confident in public speaking
- Great interpersonal and team working skills.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
