As the business expands, LX Pantos Australia is looking to bring in full-time, experienced professionals to handle the daily activities in relation to freight forwarding both export and import to and from Australia. This position requires focused, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to co-work with internal/external customers in third party logistics environment.
This role is located in Newington NSW, our main office is 2 mins walk from the Newington Marketplace.
Ideal candidate will have around 1~2 years of experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, and/or logistics.
Candidates with full working rights within Australia only. (Overseas worker sponsorship will not be provided)
Korean speaking ability will be perferred but not necessary.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Gather/collate shipping documents including import Customs clearance related documents, and work with Customs brokers/clients.
- Coordinate the management of shipments while working closely with overseas partners, service providers and Australia & Global colleagues.
- Provide internal and external customers with regularly updated status of inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries
- Escalating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
- Day to day operations including registration, invoicing, all other operational duties for export/import Operations
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or operations with an International Freight Forwarder or Supply Chain
- Excellent communication skills in both English (must) and Korean (preferred).
- Can-do attitude and being on time.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of import / export / customs processes – training can be given during hand-over and as required.
- Proven communication skills both written and verbal
- High to Intermediate MS Excel skills
- You should be able to work with minimum supervision in a team environment of 10-20 members.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30~17:00, excluding National & State (NSW) holidays
- Flexible hours and work from home arrangements can be made, after probation period.
