We are currently looking for exceptional individuals to join our team at the Food & Beverage department. We are looking for F&B SUPERVISOR and F&B ATTENDANTS. The positions are full-time, based in Mascot NSW.
Working closely with the F&B Manager, the F&B Supervisor will be tasked to supervise the team and the operations of our food and beverage outlets: restaurant, bar, banqueting and in-room dining. This is a hands-on role, being involved in the day to day service elements of food and beverage: opening and closing, ordering stock, assisting with rosters, overseeing preparation and service, handling cash and maintenance of equipment to ensure the outlet operations run smoothly.
We train and expect our staff to provide consistent and high quality standard of service to all guests and to maintain service quality in all areas of food and beverage department. F&B Attendants will be assigned to:
- Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
- Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen and other areas of operation
- Follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedures.
- Provide general assistance in cleaning in kitchen and function areas, as directed.
- Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation.
- Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times.
- Set-up and reset specific structures as directed by shift supervisors.
We are looking for someone with:
- Have previous experience within a multifaceted food and beverage supervisory role; ideally within a hotel environment (for F&B Supervisor)
- Have demonstrated success in working with and achievement of service targets (for F&B Supervisor)
- Have previous experience as a mixologist or bartender (highly desirable)
- Previous hospitality experience including small to large events, restaurants and bars
- Good time management skills and an ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Be able to take management direction and works well with a team to achieve goals
- Have strong administration and communication skills
- Hold Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- Flexibility and availability to work early or evening shifts across 7 days of the week including public holidays, where necessary.
