They are also focused on improving the safety, health and wellbeing of it's employees and this role will play a pivotal role in supporting the psychological health of the organisation's talent workforce.Sitting within a large People and Culture team and reporting into the Head of Safety and Wellbeing, you will help define the organisations' strategy around Health and Wellbeing.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
Partner with the broader Health and Wellbeing team to help deliver the strategic Health and Wellbeing plan Provide advice to promote effective and responsive rehabilitation of injured/ill employees. Work closely with business leaders' to support the early intervention and management of workers' compensation claims as well as supporting the safe return to work for employees Support the delivery of the risk management program Proactively support leaders in the management of safety, rehabilitation and return to work of employees through training, coaching and providing advice
About You
Qualifications in safety, risk management, paramedical or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Strong communication skills and a track record in high level stakeholder engagement Experience within a similar role supporting a white collar workforce Experience in providing a strategic approach to managing workers’ compensation including experience providing early intervention support and return to work. Experience in providing support, advice, and training to managers and supervisors to assist in the provision of effective employee management practices. Experience in the development and implementation of health and safety programs to increase organisational capability in hazard management in the workplace.
