The opportunity
We are looking to employ a office junior admin assistant to undertake a traineeship for our Sydney office for a twelve (12) month period.
The successful applicant will receive a Certificate III in Business Administration (Legal Services) as well as invaluable experience in a legal office.
This is a full time role with hours being 8.30am – 5.15pm, Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic entry level position and would suit year 12 graduates, with a view to career advancement.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Handling all incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner;
- Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors;
- Preparation and management of incoming and outgoing mail, along with couriers;
- Hand deliveries, including banking;
- Stock control and ordering stationery;
- General office cleaning and maintenance of office supplies;
- Diary management; and
- Various administrative duties and ad hoc projects to support the team.
The successful applicant must:
- Must have a current drivers licence;
- Be well presented for a legal office;
- Quick to pick up new skills and adapt to new environments;
- Demonstrate sound computer skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Be able to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment with multiple focus points and work to deadlines;
- Be a self starter and highly responsible;
- NOT have completed a Certificate III or higher in any other industry or currently studying at TAFE or UNI .
