Role Overview
We seek an experienced cabinet maker who is fast, reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of assisting with installations. The ideal candidate will manufacture, assemble, and sometimes install cabinetry on-site, ensuring each project meets our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cabinet Manufacturing: Cutting, assembling, and finishing cabinets, wardrobes, and other joinery projects.
- Technical Interpretation: Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and measurements.
- Tool & Machinery Operation: Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- On-Site Installations: Assisting with or handling on-site installations as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensuring precision, accuracy, and a high standard of workmanship.
- Workplace Maintenance: Keeping work areas, tools, and machinery clean and organized.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record as a cabinet maker (joinery experience preferred).
- Installation Skills: Ability to handle on-site installations, including measuring and fitting.
- Tools & Transport: Own a set of tools and a reliable car or transport (essential).
- Technical Drawings: Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Licenses: Forklift license (advantageous but not essential).
