Located in the heart of North West, Sydney’s Norwest Business District, Financia Avenue is a thriving mortgage broking firm led by a leadership team with over 20 years of experience in the finance and banking sector. We are looking for individuals with experience in the finance industry to join our growing team.

Supported by a skilled team of Mortgage Brokers and Administrative staff, we are committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients. With well-established referral partnerships and exciting opportunities to build new relationships, this role offers the potential to settle a high volume of home loans and achieve substantial earnings.

THE ROLE

As a Mortgage Broker (Contract - ABN) at Financia Avenue, you will play a crucial role in connecting clients with tailored mortgage solutions. Working alongside a team of skilled brokers and dedicated support staff, you’ll thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated, results-oriented, and passionate about guiding clients through the home loan process.

Your day-to-day tasks would involve but not limited to:

Conduct detailed consultations with clients to grasp their financial objectives and recommend appropriate mortgage products.

Educate clients about the nuances of various mortgage options and assist them throughout the decision-making process.

Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation.

Work closely with our internal team to ensure a smooth and efficient application process.

Stay informed about market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide clients with timely and relevant information.

Generate leads through various channels, such as networking events, social media, and referrals from our referral network.

Develop and nurture relationships with real estate professionals, accountants, financial planners and other industry partners.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

Experience of 6-12 months in a lending, finance, or sales-related role with a proven track record.

Self-motivated and results-driven that can generate new business

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and targets

Ability to create and maintain a great relationship with clients

Drive to establish your own referral network to get new business.

Participate in Networking events to be able to drive and grown the residential lending business.

Excellent client relationship management skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.

Understanding of mortgage products, lending regulations, and market dynamics.

Preferably Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or willing to get certified within 6 months in the role.

Valid working rights in Australia
