About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer (Contractor) with strong TypeScript and React expertise. You are highly technical, hands-on, and capable of contributing to architecture and solutions, writing high-quality code, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Beyond technical skills, you are also an effective communicator who can collaborate with teams and stakeholders efficiently.
As a contractor, you will work on a project basis, delivering high-quality front-end solutions while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. You should be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks while aligning with the team's objectives and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Ensure type safety, maintainability, and scalability in the codebase through effective TypeScript practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional user interfaces.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with other team members.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to enhance user experience.
Must have:
- Proven experience as a Front End Engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of type safety and best practices.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of backend services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
