Position: Landscape/General Horticulture maintenance team member
Location: Yatala and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday + overtime if required. 5am start.
Start: Immediate
To work under the guidance of the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to maintain sports turf facilities within all contractual areas.
To work with the Turf team and carry out all work as allocated and provide support to other horticulture areas within the company as required.
MAIN TASKS •
- General open space maintenance
- Landscape maintenance (mowing, brush cutting)
- Turf maintenance, mowing, machine operations, spraying, machinery maintenance, watering, irrigation maintenance etc.
- Safe horticultural/turf machinery use and maintenance
- Handling of herbicide and pesticide products
- Respond to general public, customer & relevant team member enquiries
- Liaise with Operations Supervisors/Managers, employees, and customers
Skills/Qualifications:
- Cert III Sports Turf Management or equivalent - DESIRABLE
- Experience & knowledge of sports grounds (including turf wicket preparation & knowledge)
- Current Drivers licence
- ACDC Licence
- MR Licence
- First Aid Licence
