The HR Assistant is a hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to our Fulfilment Centre associates. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

This position will be based at our MEL5 Site, located in Ravenhall VIC , reporting to the Human Resources Manager.

The role will work a Day Shift Roster (7:00am to 5:00pm) on Wednesday to Saturday.


Key job responsibilities
• Administer and support an accurate time and attendance system for payroll purposes.
• HR Advice and Support: Provide general support and guidance to leaders and employees on People matters.
• Respond to employees queries in regards to benefits, pay, policy and wellbeing.
• Manage performance and misconduct investigations supporting and coaching leaders in the management of their team.
• Lead and execute people and process improvement initiatives and projects.
•Employee Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records and the updating of HR systems.
• HR Administration Support: Provide a high level of administration support, including documentation / letters, data reporting and supporting general activities across the employee lifecycle.
• Act as a Subject-Matter Expert for employees and escalate as appropriate.
• Provide training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to employees.

Requirements:

- High school or equivalent
- 6+ months of Human Resources experienc- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
