The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator/Store person to join our team in Pinkenba in our Stud Bolt division.
The Machine Operator role is multi-disciplined, and this is a great opportunity to join a leading organisation that promotes a Safety-First culture and has a collaborative and supportive team environment.
About the role:

• Operate and monitor large band saw machines
• Sizing, cutting and chamfering bar into studs
• Processing, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Following and executing work order instructions
• Ensure QA procedures are followed

About You
Our ideal candidate will be safety focused and have the following skills:

• Practical knowledge of saws, chamfer, and stamping operations
• Bandsaw experience
• Fastener knowledge an advantage
• Mechanically minded with a good knowledge of machinery
• A positive attitude to work with the ability to take initiative
