This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced, knowledgeable, and inspirational ECT Early Childhood Teacher to join the stand-alone Kindergarten.

Your Role

You will be an inspiring Early Childhood Teacher who is willing to work and support your fellow team members to create warm and inclusive environments for children. The kindergarten has 2 kindy rooms with 22 children in each. This is for one of the classrooms. You will have 2 diploma assistants to support your teacher and practice.

We are looking for a Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about the curriculum and learning opportunities, & works with young children, and can focus on both play-based learning and intentional teaching moments.

You will have a strong desire to build trusting and nurturing relationships with the educators and children, able to build collaborative, professional relationships with families and communities.

Full / part-time time Role - 5 days a week) and will work between the hours of 07.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

What You Need

  • ECT Approved qualification for QLD and ACEQUA
  • Proven experience as a ECT.
  • A nurturing, professional attitude
  • In-depth understanding of current legislation, NQS requirements, EYLF and current pedagogy that influences practice necessary
  • Knowledge of KG Learning - Desirable
  • An understanding of Kindergarten Guidelines
  • Blue Card (Paid)
