We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse who can work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team with a commitment to workplace initiatives to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients. Our role is a full time position with shifts Monday to Friday at Amberley Health Centre.
As a Enrolled Nurse, you’ll make a positive impact by:
• Providing outpatient assessment, inpatient care and health promotion services
• Administering medications by approved routes, in accordance with legislative requirements under
the direct and indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Liaising with the Registered Nurse on Duty in relation to patient treatment
About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About Amberley Health Centre
RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian military’s KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General
with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without medication notation
• Minimum of 2 years full-time post registration nursing experience in an acute care, primary
healthcare or military setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance
with AHPRA
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
Please note:
· You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
· You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base and your job stays here, even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
