Our client are a dynamic and growing asset management company with a strong focus on retail. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced property professional to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Asset Manager or a seasoned residential property manager looking to transition to the commercial sector.
You'll be a key player in their busy team, responsible for managing a portfolio predominantly focused on retail properties (95%). This "all hands on deck" environment requires a proactive and adaptable individual who is ready to contribute to all aspects of property management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Overseeing a portfolio of retail properties, ensuring optimal performance.
• Tenant Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants.
• Lease Management: Handling lease negotiations, renewals, and administration.
• Financial Management: Budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring properties are well-maintained.
• Asset Enhancement: Identifying opportunities to enhance property value.

About You and your Experience:

• You will have your Cert 4 in Real Estate Practice (or higher qualification)
• Reliable motor vehicle
• Proven experience as an Asset Manager OR a strong background in residential property management with a desire to move to the commercial sector.
• Strong understanding of retail property management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Proactive and adaptable.
