About the role
We are seeking passionate and skilled Chef/Cooks to join our team at The Lord Lyndoch, located in the picturesque town of Lyndoch, South Australia. As a casual Chef/Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers in a fast-paced, friendly environment. What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including entrees, main courses, and desserts, using fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of meals
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assisting with menu development and implementing new recipes as needed
- Maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising food waste
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Function experience highly regarded
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new recipes and flavours
- Passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional customer service
