The Team
The Data Insights team helps clients put analytically driven decision making at the heart of solving their most important problems. Through our expert delivery of data strategy, data science and analytics, data management and actuarial and modelling services, we help our clients make intelligent decisions for better outcomes.
The Role
As a Senior Consultant within our Data Insights team in Adelaide, you will lead delivery teams to design, build, and deliver innovative analytics-backed solutions in the areas of digital transformation, productivity, procurement/supply chain, workforce, and infrastructure. Your ability to bridge the technical and functional aspects of advanced analytics will important.
You’ll collaborate closely with clients, internal Scyne stakeholders, guide development teams, and drive innovation
In this role, you will create value by:
Assess clients' business requirements and existing IT infrastructure to recommend suitable analytical solutions.Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and transform raw data into usable formats. Develop traditional and cloud-based analytics solutions in Python, cloud-based analytics platforms including Azure and/or AWS, and data visualisation tools and present that information back to clients in reports, visualisations and dashboardsTake a business led approach to analytics by blending commercial understanding with your analytical experience and consulting mindset to ensure that the insight we develop can truly be used by our clients to add value to their organisationManage both yourself and small teams on client engagements to understand the commercial and technical objectives of stakeholders, and translate those into solution designs and implementations which drive value for our clientsFostering a collaborative environment and promoting knowledge sharing.Assisting with pre-sale activities like proposal writing, solution design, demonstrations.

Given your experience and leading edge in Analytics:You have consulting experience and have extensive experience in project-based roles working alongside multi-disciplinary teamsYou have experience working with Government and Health clients across AustraliaYou have experience in cloud data platforms
Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Several years of experience in cloud computing, data platforms, and related technologies, preferably in a consultancy role.Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), data management, and DevOps tools.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
