Joolca
Melbourne Full-day Full-time

Description:

We are Joolca, a Melbourne-based outdoor eCommerce brand with a big international market. Joolca centres on a single idea: what if people could enjoy indoor comforts outdoors - no matter where they are?

In the past few years alone, we've gone from being an Australian-only brand to now selling our top-rated gear in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, and the UK. Our customers number in the tens of thousands, and they're so enthusiastic about our brand that they've even formed a Joolca community online.

Our website https://www.joolca.com.au/pages/about-us might give you an idea of what we're talking about.

We're expanding fast and looking for one more person to join the crew. You'll be part of a high-growth, goal-driven team in a relaxed, no-BS environment where you'll have real ownership of your work. Our Coburg warehouse office is pretty cool, but you can also work from home up to three days a week .

Requirements

The Role

As Joolca's eCommerce manager, you will be focused on maximising revenue—you'll be thinking about how to increase AOV, LTV, and CVR; how to position products to make them more appealing, and how to remove friction in the buying process. You'll work closely with the eCommerce Lead, who handles execution, while you focus on strategy, analysis, and ongoing optimisation. A curious and data-driven approach is key—you should always be testing, questioning, and looking for opportunities to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving eCommerce Growth: Own key metrics like AOV, LTV, and CVR, ensuring constant improvement
  • Merchandising & Positioning: Optimise how products, bundles, and promotions are structured to maximise appeal and sales
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation: Identify and address friction points in the shopping experience
  • Data & Insights: Use analytics to uncover trends, test ideas, and drive improvements
  • Strategic Pricing & Offers: Develop bundling and promotional strategies to increase revenue without discounting
  • Site Optimisation & UX: Identify and implement improvements that enhance the customer journey
  • Email Marketing Performance: Oversee email strategy with our Ecommerce Lead, ensuring campaigns and flows drive engagement, conversions, and revenue
  • SEO & Organic Growth: Ensure product pages and content are optimised to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic

What You'll Bring

  • Strong eCommerce and commercial experience, ideally with Shopify Plus
  • A data-first mindset, always looking for patterns and insights
  • Deep understanding of merchandising, CRO, and revenue optimisation
  • Ability to think strategically while guiding execution through the eCommerce Lead
  • Experience working alongside email, PPC, and marketing teams to align strategies
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives and working cross-functionally

Benefits

What's in it for you?

This is an opportunity to grow your career with a fast-growing Aussie brand that's making waves around the world, and doing it all from our humble (but hip) office in Coburg, Melbourne. Isn't technology amazing?!

  • We work out of a really cool converted warehouse, and you can also work from home for up to 3 days per week
  • We're offering a competitive salary in a relaxed working environment.
  • We keep things pretty casual, but we believe in hitting our goals.
  • You'll have ownership of your little corner of the business goals with no BS bureaucracy to contend with.

Please note that this role is not currently offering visa sponsorships
