About you
You will be a self-motivated Quality and Compliance Officer who is forward-thinking and has initiative, with a background in Quality and Compliance ideally in the Aged Care and/or NDIS sectors. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgement and confidentiality in the performance of your work. Additionally, you will be a team player and have the ability to work efficiently within a small team and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Opportunity
As a Quality and Compliance Officer for Carers NT Ltd, the primary role is to monitor and oversee the organisational quality management and compliance systems in relation to aged care and NDIS services. This involves ensuring that all policies and procedures are in line with industry regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to address any issues that may arise. The Quality and Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of care and service delivery for clients, while also ensuring that the organisation remains in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
This role may be fulfilled on either a full time or part-time basis depending on the candidates qualifications and experience. A generous remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate .
As part of your role it is essential that you meet all mandatory compliance requirements in line with Carers NT policies and procedures, which includes:
• Current Working with Children clearance (Ochre Card)
• Current Police Check issued within the last 6 months
• Evidence of Australia work rights (current visa or birth certificate)
• NDIS Worker Orientation module (https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (https://forms.pfes.nt.gov.au/safent/)
• NT unrestricted drivers licence
• Qualifications in Aged Care, Individual Support or Community Care will be highly regarded
