A wonderful family in Perth is seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive cook/meal prepper to help with preparing meals for their three school-aged children. The ideal candidate will be active, organised, and enthusiastic about preparing healthy, family-friendly meals, with the option to assist with monthly Saturday dinner parties on an ad-hoc basis.
This position is on Wednesdays for 4-6 hours, with the option to assist with meal preparation and cooking for dinner parties once a month on Saturdays. You will work within a warm, friendly family environment and will be an integral part of the household's daily routine.
Key Responsibilities :
- Meal Prep & Cooking : Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, help with cooking and baking for the family, and create a freezer stash of prepared meals.
- Grocery Shopping & Meal Planning : Create grocery lists, go to the grocery store, and plan meals for the week ahead.
- Kitchen Support : Keep the kitchen tidy, including cleaning up after meal prep and organising meal-related spaces.
- Dinner Party Assistance : Option to assist with meal preparation and cooking for monthly Saturday dinner parties.
- Reliable & Responsible : You will be a go-to person for meal prep support, so reliability and dependability are key.
- Proactive & Diligent : Take the initiative to go beyond basic meal prep and contribute to maintaining an organised kitchen and home.
- Excellent Cook : A passion for preparing healthy, family-friendly meals, with the ability to handle occasional dinner parties and special events.

- Previous cooking/meal prep experience, ideally within a family setting.
- Ability to assist with optional monthly Saturday dinner parties.
- Experience with grocery shopping, meal planning, and organising meals.
