About the role

The work is varied! With responsibilities involving the manual handling of gas cylinders in various sizes, assisting with loading, and general depot duties, making it ideal for an active individual who thrives in an outdoor, physically demanding environment.
You will:

• Prioritize safety in line with Supagas policies and procedures.
• Load and unloading gas cylinders of various weights from cages and vehicles, both manually and using lifting aids.
• Prepare gas cylinders through machine washing, scraping, painting, stickering, and plugging.
• Safely fill and decant LP Gas from cylinders.
• Test cylinders against Australian Standards, deeming them safe for reuse or condemnable.
• Daily stock reconciliation.
• Completing daily reports.
• Supporting loading processes, as well as conducting vehicle and load inspections.
• Manage stock levels of materials required on Ramp.
• Assist with depot maintenance, including safe storage of tools and equipment and tasks to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.

You possess:

• Previous experience in deliveries, warehouse and or/ yard work.
• Basic written and numerical skills, together with basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• An improvement focus that you apply to learning new skills and solving problems.
